Headshot photographer in Lewes. Coffee all day. A method for people who would rather be doing almost anything else.
I'm originally from Fairfax, Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C. In the summer of 2010 I moved with my family of five to Millsboro, Delaware — to raise three kids near the water, and to keep making pictures of interesting people along the way.
Professionally I spent years in the golf industry: greens and grounds at private clubs, PGA Tour events, then time with companies the likes of Oakley, Nike Golf, Ping, and Tory Burch. Photographing the people and places of that world was never a side hobby. It was how I paid attention.
That is still the job. I like headshot photography because it is specific. One face. One job the picture has to do. I like portraits of colorful characters, and I like commercial work that has to hold up next to a real brand. I like most sports and most music. I drink coffee all day, so let's grab a cup and talk about the next project.
How I work with you
I do not outsource the conversation. You will not be processed through a studio assistant and a lighting diagram. We talk about usage. I coach expression. We pick clothes that support the message instead of competing with it. Then we sit down the same day and choose. The photographs are retouched and in your hands within seven business days.
